My daughter's 2-month old 2025 EQEV picked up a nail in outer edge of the tire and cannot be repaired (according to a local tire shop). She has less than 2k miles on the car. Is there any sort of tire warranty that comes with the car?

In Canada they are warranted for defects, not for road hazard. At the time of sale GM offers various road hazard tire and wheel warranties which you may have purchased, either knowingly or unkowinly. Similar for third part warranties. Look through all the documentation to see if anything is covered.
The good news in a bad news situation is with only 2K miles you are looking at a single tire purchase. Better news would be if they were the 19" and not the 21".
As already commented, unless you bought dealer option tire/wheels service contract that covers the road hazzard, you are out of luck. In the US, OEM tires are covered by tire manufacturer warranty for workmanship and defect, but not covered by the usual bumper to bumper warranty.
No different than getting a dent in a 2-month old car. The 3 year/36k mile warranty covers defects to the car, not road damage. Discount Tire or the dealer will sell you an warranty for tires.
