I am just curious to see what drivetrain they use for the AWD, will it be the 10 module battery with 180kw front and 62kw rear motors like in the Equinox, or will it have the 12 module and same motors as the Lyriq AWD which appears to be the 255kw rear motor and the front motor from the AWD hybrid Corvette (maybe a boosted 62kw motor). I am interested in a Blazer EV with the latter power train, but I fear the pricing might be out of reach if I am to be financially responsible. An AWD Equinox 3RS will probably be about 15k cheaper than my ideal AWD Blazer RS configuration.

Yes, while I could throw money at a Cadillac Lyriq TKEV, at the end of the day, the extra $ will be better off going into my retirement account. Cars are a rapidly depreciating asset and a long term money pit. A Chevy Equinox EV will do just as well as a Lyriq getting me from A to B. So will a Bolt EV, but I already have one. The Equinox EV will be a Volt replacement for me.

The Equinox size is perfect despite not being able to sit in it as present. If I had a larger dog maybe the Blazer would the wiser choice. However, my dream EV would be the new Bronco 2 door with good range (if Ford makes an EV with 2 doors).

I sure hope its (Nox) size is not a disappointment as the more I see of the Blazer the more I like the Nox. Maybe the plastic cladding along the bottom of the Blazer RS will be a little less obtrusive (IMO) but that back side glass and back end in general needs to be rethought. Sadly, though I suspect it won't be. My GSD might have to learn to duck in the back of a Nox!

I am worried about the headroom in both the Equinox EV and Blazer EV. I am 6'7" and drive a Mazda 3. At the time I thought the headroom was fine with a bit of a seat adjustment. But after 7 years, I think it's time I get something I can sit more upright in.

The Bolt EV has quite a bit of headroom for me (I'm 6'2"), TKEV. Have you sat in one?
I have not, the Bolt was not really an option for me due to the slower charging and the frequency for which I take road trips. The ultium platform is on the top of my list even though it is on a 400v architecture and doesn't charge quite as quick as others; the most appealing feature is the battery appears more serviceable and potentially upgradeable, if GM really means what they have said in many interviews. Also, the android automotive system that would help find/schedule charging on longer road trips. I don't like that the lane centering requires super cruise when competitors like Honda and Kia have very competent systems at a fraction of the cost without a subscription.

And here's what looks like a 1LT/2LT Blazer EV being charged up at EVgo.

I think this confirms what I've been told by the Chevy rep. The tire sidewall looks taller, so the overall profile height of all the wheels, on all trims will stay the same, while the sidewalls on the upper trims will be shorter. Which means (as I was told) that the tire+rim packages are swappable... But not upon ordering.

That means we're going to open a group of "Nox tire package swap" here. But I suspect the downgrading group is going to contain 10X more people than the upgrading group. So far, everyone here that expressed any desire to change, wanted to downgrade (smaller rims). I haven't seen even one complaint about "why are the wheels on the 1LT so small?"

Another thing is I don't see the 1LT selling as many units as the other trims, so even if they all wanted to swap, supply is gonna be an issue as well.

Well, the Equinox EV's tires for 21" wheels on the show cars have a 29.2" diameter. When we finally see a tire on a 19" wheel, we will know for sure.

These are renderings. These rims aren't even an option.

Second thing, it's says "25" (look at the "2" from the "275" and the "25", same number)... Which will be completely illogical for the least sporty model to have the most low-profile tire.
