The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will be available in fall 2023, starting with a limited edition 2RS. Additional details and ordering information will be available closer to the start of production. The Equinox EV will be produced at GM’s Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, production facility.

I think it's because the 3RS has Super Cruise and they keep putting GM vehicles on constraint because of Super Cruise chip availability.

The 2LT and up all can have Super Cruise. It's an option; none of the Equinox Models come with Super Cruise as standard.

According to Alex On Autos, there will be no pre-order. They simply believe there will be no shortages so there will be enough in stock

I sort of get that for the full release in spring 2024 (although I'm still doubtful, no one else has been able to get ahead of demand recently). But what about the first edition 2RS next fall? Surely that's a limited production run.
