I do not have the camera app icon in the infotainment system. The camera is only available by going in Reverse and then switching to Drive if I want to see the front camera for parking or going slow. I thought the front camera turned on under a certain miles per hour. Is it possible the Camera icon was deleted, any way to restore? I tried the soft reboot but did not change anything

Did the dealer not have any other cars on the lot you could check?

Wow, that is bizarre that you would have HD Surround Vision cameras with no way to access them except to "fool the system" into showing them. Seems like a huge oversight as they were chopping features/costs for the LT models. Definitely worth a call (because there's no GM online customer support form) to both complain to GM and register your desire for this feature to be included in a future update. They are essentially selling you a feature by including the HD Surround Vision on the window sticker then taking away the ability to use it (like the first 2024's that had the wireless charger on the window sticker that the dealers had to cross out).

Does your phone have "hey google" turned on? Or is the car clearly responding?
