It would be interesting to track the buying process of all the users on this form (despite pricing not yet being available).

I will also look into Chapman Chevy outside of Philly for the 5 % savings under MSRP.

I think it's safe to say we are all waiting for prices and more details, Evan1.Maybe we'll have those in about 6 months.

Yes, it will be interesting to see how the tracker evolves overtime Mr. S Rino :)
Hard to get on a non-existent list.

Yes, that may or may not happen in the near future but you can state your plans.
My plan is to see what GM offers. I'm looking at the 2LT as the tires on the 3LT will be in the $400 per tire range to replace when they wear out. That's not a good look when going into retirement.

With Tesla lowering prices, OEMs will be forced to lower their prices thus making the EQ perhaps better priced 😉. The tire idea sounds like an excellent idea. 👍🏻.

Maybe. I mean the absolute cheapest Tesla you can order is already in the ballpark of the most expensively-trimmed Equinox EV ($44k), so GM is already starting at an advantageous price.

There are some recent Tesla buyers that did not get the discounts are very upset. The price cuts have immediately devalued their car in addition to spending a lot more than they would have had they waited. It seems the discounts are designed with the fed tax credits in mind, to give the cars a shot at the credit as long as delivery is before end of March. Will the price go up in April? Or is Tesla starting to feel the heat of competition coming from GM, Ford, and the slew of new EV makers like Rivian?

Will we soon see corny "Hi, I'm Madman Musk" car commercials? "Come on down! We are overstocked and slashing prices! My investors want sales, sales, SALES so make me an offer!!"

Tesla's site even notes it. Can't get the tax incentive with the Performance Model 3, only the regular one for example.

Same here, I'll be looking for 2LT with 480 km range and improved interior from the base model.....also don't need sunroof, AWD...et cetera....

:)👍

2LT with a couple of the camera and safety options turned on is my sweet spot.

2LT with larger display, FWD, tech upgrades. Probably silver or two-tone to match the crazy interior. They should offer the red/black and white/black for all versions. The red/black interior will only look good with red or black and the white/black interior will look odd with a red paint job.

Welcome to the forum. Nice spec, did you consider any other trims?
Thanks! Yes, it will depend on price. I am also interested in the 3LT.

Welcome @ontheroad. I like your selection. I'm looking at the identical spec. Just waiting to see the timing and pricing.
VERY much depending on price for me.

Either 1LT LR upgrade AWD, or 2LT AWD.

Must have: extended warranty.

Want to have (these are NOT available as options on 1LT): power liftgate, HD vision, adaptive CC, sunroof

What is the standard warranty? Do you mean extended as on top of the standard warranty?

Yes. Since I rarely drive, I want a no-time-limit, mileage based warranty. I have one now, 180K km, bumper to bumper warranty, on a 13-year old SUV. I don't mind paying an extra 3K for it. I'm aware that it probably won't cover the battery, and that's fine, but I want everything else covered.

So far, mine paid for itself 2.5X already. That's the only reason I didn't get a Mazda. All they are offering is no-mileage-limit, 5 years. In 5 years, I'll be at 10K-15K km (6K-9K miles).
