The light strip is rated at 3000 kelvin. Just wondering how close the whiteness and brightness match the headlights. Also, please tell me if light is at full brightness with dimmable controller. I want to be able to match the headlight brightness and color of white as closely as possible.

I use my orbital sander to remove the dealer name from the plastic license frame. Buff out the sanding marks with wet/dray sandpaper so I have a new shiny frame.

Got to say, nice job ! The car really needs that light. It completes the look. I am trying to find a light strip that fills the gap and is as “tall” as possible to match the profile. I am also considering lights with remote controls so you can customize the brightness and color to match the OE look. Again, great job .

If you were doing it again, would you do anything different? Have you seen any new lights released that would work better in your opinion ?

I am open to your suggestions since you blazed this trail and obviously did your research.

I don't want mine switched with the car on. Trying to figure out where to tie it into the light circuit. I'm don't feel comfortable dropping the whole front facia, after all I'm 72 now. Thinking of going to one of the front wheel wells and splicing into into a side marker light.
That way if I have the car on but the lights off, i.e. camp mode, that light won't be lit all night.

Any thoughts and suggestions from anyone will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
