I know. I was just hoping that somebody might have an inside track.Only the diameter has been advertised. 21".
Good point. I know that the Toronto Auto show is this weekend and they've got one there. I'm from Montreal, so hopefully someone from Toronto can do a zoom in on the tires...Maybe try to zoom in on one of the walkthrough videos and you might be able to catch it.
19-inch is the way to go on all trims. The 3LT that's going around to the shows has 275/40 R21 tires. At Discount Tire these range from $320 to $500 per tire to replace. No way in h am I going with this size tire.
That's kind of a longer way... You can just use a tire change calculator. Just pick the result with the lowest % of change "tire height"This wheel/tire visualizer may help in tire size calculations.
"Compare metric or inch tire specs side by side and view with our tire visualizer. Also find vehicle speedometer error and available alternate tire sizes."
"Our tire size comparison calculator takes two tire sizes and directly calculates the differences between the tires diameter, width, sidewall, circumference and revolutions per mile. Just input any two tires, metric or standard, and click the button. Then as a bonus it shows examples of your speedometer reading with the first tire, and the actual speed you're traveling if you were to install the second tire. A very useful tool when searching for tires that are a different size than stock. Enjoy this page for all your tire size comparison needs."

Why? My AWD V6 Santa Fe has 18". A crossover like the Nox should be 16" or 17".19-inch is the way to go on all trims.
I wasn't sure if the other trims have below 18" brother. What does Nox mean (New Equinox)? Why? My AWD V6 Santa Fe has 18". A crossover like the Nox should be 16" or 17".
I already have an extra 18" set, so after I'll "finish" the tires the Nox comes with, I'm gonna install the 18"ers with a Michelin CrossClimate to match the overall height.
Yes. Some here shorten the name to "Nox", some "EQ", because "Equinox EV" is too long.I wasn't sure if the other trims have below 18" brother. What does Nox mean (New Equinox)?
And here I am patiently waiting for the white wall tire fad to return one day..Yes. Some here shorten the name to "Nox", some "EQ", because "Equinox EV" is too long.
I'm sorry if I sound upset, it's not about you, it's about the fact that the silly fad of huge rims just slipped it's way through to all the segments of every vehicle on Earth, when the only thing it's good for is sportscars on perfect roads. 99.99% of drivers will have a much better ride (better shock absorption) with taller sidewalls and smaller rims... Not to mention the cost reduction. A 21" tire cost TWICE as much as an 18" tire.
They will, when running boards and exterior windshield visors on sedans return...And here I am patiently waiting for the white wall tire fad to return one day..
Lol the way we are trending I think we will need sedans to return first then! They will, when running boards and exterior windshield visors on sedans return...![]()
Meanwhile in Japan they killed the Camry sedan....after 43 years of service.Lol the way we are trending I think we will need sedans to return first then!
For much the same reasons, though in favor of a different vehicle. Japanese manufacturers found ways to make kei cars more comfortable and still hit favorable tax advantages so the public just kind of stopped buying sedans. In the US, manufacturers found ways to make SUVs about as fuel-efficient as sedans and more accommodating to ... bigger Americans, and the public stopped buying sedans.Meanwhile in Japan they killed the Camry sedan....after 43 years of service.
I wonder how long the US-made Camry will last (and the Accord). Toyota will soon introduce the Crown which is essentially a jacked-up sedan. Pruis might go SUV next gen too.For much the same reasons, though in favor of a different vehicle.
