I thought it would be nice to have a thread with items you are accessorizing your Nox with. Console covers, seat covers, bumper protector, charger mat, etc.

I know it's not third party, but I ended up biting the bullet and getting the OEM All - Weather floor liners for the front/back seats and trunk. I love them! The trunk liner has Velcro so it can stick on the back of the rear seats. There's also Velcro for the floor of the trunk, but it doesn't really work as well. If you're like me and can't wait, I recommend it. I also had Chevy reward points for buying the vehicle, so I applied it to that!

I did the same, although I have not received mine yet. Those flimsy carpet mats are awful. I will also probably get the GM charger, since it's 20% off. So far, third party accessories I have gotten or ordered are a fur cover for the center console (gotta keep the dog happy), especially important since I got the sky gray interior and they made the center console white (What were they thinking???). I have also ordered the Velocivent covers from Costco and some cup inserts to catch liquids.

For charging, I found these great angled usb cords: Amazon.com

And I am using this tiny USB stick for my music (transferred everything when I got rid of my CDs). Amazon.com - Interesting tidbit, the stick will only play if it is inserted in the front USB slots.

I got these sticks for my music. Came as a 2 pack - one for me, one for her. One end USB-A, the other end USB-C. The way I measure them, it'll stick out about 1.25" from the face of the port. Hoping that will keep it low enough in at least one of the front ports to not be annoying.

Now if I can only get my vehicle delivered!

Don't get the Coverking seat covers. They don't fit. The seats of the sky cool grey interior are almost white, so my dogs would ruin them and I need seat covers. I am using these right now. They take away from the cool look, but at least they fit, they are cotton, and they will do until I can find something down the road that looks better. Amazon.com (grey or charcoal)

I thought it would be cool to start a thread where we can all share our favorite post-purchase accessories for our Chevy Equinox EVs.

I don't own an Equinox EV yet but for me, my must-have accessories will likely be a set of all-weather floor mats. I live in a rainy area and they'll be a lifesaver in keeping my car clean and protected from the elements. I'll also invest in a cargo organizer to keep all of my gear organized and easily accessible in the trunk.

I'm also considering adding a roof rack to my Equinox EV for extra storage space when I go on road trips.

I would love to hear from you all about your favorite post-purchase accessories for your Chevy Equinox EVs. Let's share our recommendations and help each other make our electrified Equinoxes even better!

Feel free to share pics!

Consider a cleaner pad on a stick for the deep dash and raked inside windshield. A variety of pads are available. Amazon, Walmart, auto part store have many to choose from. I didn't care for the Invisible glass version much. You want something that can extend to give you the reach needed to get into the tight area where the glass meets th dash.

Here is the site I use but you have to set up an account and sign in.
I have an account, but no Equinox EV yet. Unless I'm not seeing a link in there, the only things I have are for OnStar with my Volt and Bolt.

Not really a third party accessory, more like a DIY mod for getting a retractable cargo area shade.
My 2RS did not come with one and these are not yet available for purchase (also price...) so I bought this on Amazon and modified it to fit the Equinox EV.

This was the second attempt at hitting the right size and this one is the exactly the right size where it matters, the front spring grip rod.

Step 1
Place thin plastic sheet on the two mounting cavities in the cargo area and create impressions using epoxy putty. Let cure as needed (24 hours) and grind to shape. Also remove some of the height of the shapes.

Step 2
Place pieces of wood with double sided tape to support the spring rod in the correct location. Put epoxy glue on the inner surfaces of the two putty shapes and carefully insert the spring rod. Let cure in place.

Step 3
Take the rod out. Make a small hole for a screw at the center of the putty shapes. and a relief for a screw head. Add epoxy to fill any gaps. Screw in the screw with the head underflush (make sure it is not to long to interfere with the spring operation.

Step 4
Remove the aluminum rod (4 screws) on the extending side. Cut on one side to 39 3/4" total length and drill the holes for the screws on that side.

Step 5
Cut the excess material on both sides of the extending curtain symmetrically to the length of the rod. Reinstall the plastic ends.

Step 6
Print and install the catchers on both sides of the cargo area rear side. I will post a link to the .stl files.

Step 7
And here it is

Walmart, Amazon, auto-parts store all carry them Ksox. They are inexpensive and typically have a - handle rasp to clean/abrade the hole, another used to insert the plug (a saturated cord), extra plugs, some goop. You'll want to carry a needle nosed pliers, a small blade to cut the protruding cord, a towel, some gloves, maybe a plastic sheet to sit on.

A simple "Slime" brand kit is about USD$7

You can also get one about double the $ that comes in a plastic container and includes a plier and cutoff knife.
