Good to know there is an adapter pack. Also, the default 240v connector is a 14-50P, which happens to be the same connector used by most plug in 60 amp (48 amp charging) EVSEs, so if you install a 60 amp circuit you'll be able to use this EVSE until you decide to go with the full 11.5 KWh EVSE.
 
This part here would have been useful if the Equinox EV still had the 19.2 kW option: V2V Adaptor
When I had an electrician check by house panel yesterday, he and I talked about V2V. The word in the electrician world is that car manufacturers are working on 60 amp 240v V2V systems. He says that the only two circuit sizes being installed are 60 and 100 amps.

Oh, my home panel can support a 60 amp circuit - $500 installed.
 
I wouldn't call this a "free" charging cord. It is included with the vehicle and we're definitely paying for it.
