Google Calendar and Maps don't synch. No Send to Car?

In the Equinox EV, I can no longer tap the address of an event in my Google calendar and send it directly to Google Maps on the car as I was able to do with Android Auto. I also can't bring up a location in Google Maps on my phone and send it to the car. I'm having to either say the address to Google Assistant or manually enter it on the screen.
I go to multiple clients every day and the addresses are all saved in my calendar.

Is there a way to send the address from the Google Calendar on my phone to Google Maps on the infotainment system?

Make sure you are signed into the Google account in the car and use the same account as your Google Calendar and phone. This will help your car communicate with that account.

I have not done from calendar to car but I do know you need to be signed into the correct account in the car for it to work.

Ad Steverino suggested there is several threads on this topic. Good luck.

Thank you all for the fix! I was so unhappy with my car not being able to send directions from phone to car, but the advice to make sure the vehicle was selected in Google Maps settings did the trick.

Now I can go to my calendar, tap the address and when it pops up in Maps, just choose "send to car"

Only problem left is the calendar itself. I still can't have Google Assistant tell me what's on my agenda for the day. There is no Google Calendar in the app store and the Assistant can't access it at all. Input on that issue is still appreciated.

Glad you got Send to Car to work. I use it all the time.

You are correct about no calendar in the car. The apps allowed in the car are very limited. I have browsed through all of them. And some are modified for the EQEV. For comparison, google play has at least 2 million apps! Sorry but you have to live with the apps provided.

Enjoy your ride!
