A look at the plant in Hamtramck, MI where the Silverado EV is being produced. My Volt was built here and I toured it years ago before it was redone.
About the same square footage as the Pentagon, the facility has done away with a traditional assembly line to enable flexibilty. The mobile robots are electric and recharge via induction wires in the floor rather than charging stations.
