I have had issues with applications on my phone connecting when the wifi in my phone is on in my Blazer EV. If I turn the wifi off in the settings on my phone and use the phones 5G connection everything works. It appears to me that the Chevrolet1604 wifi connection is blocking any and all apps to connect.
2024 Equinox EV Maps, Apps, WiFi Hotspot, SuperCruise, OnStar Subscriptions says the 2024 doesn't come with an onboard wifi trial. Presumably you'd have to pay for the Connected Car plan to get that?

I don't know about 2024, but 2025 has 8 years of connection standard. I think 2024 is the same.
"Connection" in the car as included feature ain't necessarily "Connected Car" as a paid OnStar plan, and that's part of the ongoing confusion. Very few people seem to actually test the wifi connectivity and even when specifically hinted to test it about it as in the later posts of this thread. The one guy that says "it's a demo for a year" lists having a 2024 which doesn't have a wifi demo at all, and we don't have a separate 2025 model year inclusions thread stickied like we have for the 2024, which definitely does not have the same demo/3year/8year plan as the 2024.

Heck even if you're buying an OnStar plan for some reason, the 2024 and 2025's have entirely different pricing tiers, to reflect that freebie package that the thread linked above talks about. Which does not include the in-car wifi data.
