No, but you can clip your garage door remote on the visor of course.

You can also look into a rearview mirror replacement that has a garage remote capability.

Universal Remote was not available in any recent Volt models, so I bought a mirror which had them and I was able to just remove and replace the OEM mirror. This works well and is convenient to use.

Does the mirror you bought have batteries? Or how does it get power?

It is a rearview mirror with HomeLInk Connect. It's wire harness connects to the same set of wires that the OEM uses, so it has power when the car is on. The OEM mirror had auto-dim function, which required power from the car. So the new mirror also has auto-dim function as well as buttons to operate up to 3 remote devices:
