What up! My husband and I have two Bolt EVs, and will trade in the older one for the Equinox EV. Frustrated that we can't seemingly place an order (but you can for the Blazer EV). I admin one of a few of the Equinox EV FB groups.

Hey @zwickerp welcome to the forum! What years are your Bolts and how long have you had them? Have you thought about which Equinox EV model you want?

We have a 2017 Premier that we bought used in Oct 2020 with 15k miles, and a 2020 LT that we lease, which is up in August, but I'm buying it out. Yes, I want the 2LT to get that 300-mile range!

Good choice with the 2LT, that 300 mile range is key. It's either that or the 3LT for me I'm not certain yet. Overall how have your Bolts treated you and your husband? Any issues?

Hello all, you can just call me Spicy. We had a 2021 Cayenne Orange Bolt EV, and it was shortly after getting it, I joined the Bolt forum. So hence the name, plus I like spicy food too! The Cayenne Bolt is gone now, having been trade repurchased away for a Bright Blue EUV.

Prior to the Bolts, we had a 2018 Kinetic Blue Volt. That was totaled when my wife was T-boned by a 1996 Buick Roadmaster station wagon, which was also totaled. The Volt protected my wife well, and a woman from OnStar responded instantly, having been alerted by the airbag deployment.

We may still be driving the Volt today if not for the accident. My plan had been to skip over the Bolt, and wait for an Ultium EV. So, here I am, as the Equinox EV looks like the most likely successor to our EUV, but we are in no rush.

We also have a gasmobile, my 2011 Cruze Eco MT. It gets minimal use now, being that we are both retired. I still like driving stick though, and I can't seem to part with it, even though we'd be fine with just one car.

Welcome Spicy! I still have my 2011 Volt and my 2017 Bolt EV, but am looking at the Equinox EV as a replacement for the Volt (it will be 13 years old by the time the first Equinox EV's start arriving).

Just joined today. I'm on the Bolt forum as well. I'm on my 2nd Bolt. Leased a 2018 Bolt for 3 years. Now have a 2021 Bolt with less than a year left on the lease. Got such an amazing deal on it. Hoping to get something close to that again with the Equinox. Batteries were replaced last week. Might consider buying the Bolt when the lease is up and reselling it to make a few bucks or keeping it. It's been good to us so far. Really looking forward to the Equinox with all wheel drive and longer range. I've got 61 solar panels on my roof that power the house and car. Best investment I ever made!

The Bolt is an amazing deal and I considered getting another to replace our Volt, but I prefer the get an Ultium-based car instead so the Equinox EV is my first choice. Our 2017 Bolt EV batteries were replaced in February, no issues except now I'm getting a LOT more range. Such a problem, lol.

Your solar power sounds awesome. And who said you can't run cars on sunshine?
