I just saw over on Facebook that the 21" tires built in week 4024 are being recalled due to tread separation concerns. Please check your My.Chevrolet account if you have 21" tires and then check your tire sidewalls (all four tires) to see if the manufacturing date stamp is 4024.

The poster posted the image from his my.chevrolet account. That's why I said to check there to see if any given Equinox EV is impacted.

I saw that also. My tires match the date shown on Facebook. When I opened my chevy app, the recall appeared. Guess I'm getting new tires for free. lol

I just saw this last night. Three of my date codes are 0625 and one is 0925 so I'm OK. Here is what my Chevrolet app shows.

Is this where you see the code?

I received the recall notice but wanted to know if this is where I see the number? Looks like mine are 1225?

I got the same message on the Chevy App. I checked my tires too and I found the date just like you.
I believe this is it. Mine is shows 0125 so I'm guessing mi good on the recall
Will bring it up at my 15000 visit when they rotate my tire.

Here's the notification from the NHTSA:

NHTSA said:
You are receiving this message because you subscribed to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle recall alerts for tires.

There's a new safety recall for the following tire(s):

NHTSA Recall ID Number :
25T017
Synopsis :
Continental Tire the Americas, LLC (CTA) is recalling certain Continental TerrainContact H/T LT265/60R20 121/118R, CrossContact LX25 235/60R18 107V, CrossContact RX ContiSeal 275/40R21 107H, and General Grabber HTS 60LT245/75/R17 121/118S tires. The tires may have been produced using the wrong rubber compound, causing the tread to detach. A tire tread detachment can result in a tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 1, 2025. Owners may contact CTA customer service at 1-888-799-2168.
To find out specific information about a tire, enter the tire's brand name or model in our Recall Look-up Tool. If your tire is part of a recall, contact the manufacturer for additional details and remedy information.

Thanks for the information. Oct 2024 production tires mean it apply only to 2025MY? I have the stock 21" wheels and tires that came with my '24 EQEV 3RS, but have not seen any notification on my app. I will check later but don't think affected. And even if affected, they are off the car. No safety issues there.

I thought, I will check on the stock 21" tires that came with my '24 EQEV 3RS... But they are all bagged and stored on a shelf in a storage shed. My '24 has production month 06/24 on the placard, so it can't have the affected tires. I'm not going bother checking them.

It should read 4024 (like this pic of mine), not 4025 as some of the previous posts have implied. I would assume that Continental is supplying the replacement tires. I would prefer a better tire even if I had to pay extra.

I heard Continental are not very good tires. Friend of mines tesla had them and problem after problem. Leak, air bubble between the treads. She also go nails in them but that’s not Continental fault. I would consider paying extra to get better brand if I had to replace them.
