I know we don't have a specific Dog Mode, but it's been shared here how to improvise Dog Mode/Camping Mode, leaving the vehicle on for an hour up to whenever you shut it off or the battery dies.

I'm sharing a couple fun signs, explaining the dog(s) are safe in a temperature controlled cabin, that anyone can print out or use as a template. I took a pic of one in landscape position that I've printed out on some poster board. It fits well over the center infotainment screen, incorporating the temp I've set the Climate Control to. I've scrubbed my phone number off the two attached PNGs just leaving open background in that space. You should be able to easily add your personal number if you choose in any graphics editor.

You could also try fully personalizing your own sign. I created these in Google's Gemini AI by manipulating and testing this base instruction:

Informational poster with the text at the top center line 1 [We're Just Chillin'] and line 2 [The A/C and Tunes are keeping us comfortable.] and line 3 [Drinks are available as well.]. Graphic image of 2 cute puppy dogs in car in center of poster. Below graphic in center is text line [Our Chauffeur will be right Bark.]. On bottom left of poster centered the text TEMP with an image of a thermometer. On bottom right of poster centered 2 lines of text with line 1 [Text or Call if Needed] and line 2 [303-555-5555].

Just FYI, this might seem unneeded as we head into fall, but it's needed during the hot summer. I've been called outside on a grocery store PA and had the police called, both from parties concerned about my dogs. I think I'll create one here soon for freezing weather.

Thanks for the idea. We use to drive with dogs in our car all the time, but no more. No plan getting new pets.

But, even without pets, a similar sign may comes handy in other situations.

On a similar note. Many, many years ago I worked at Montgomery Ward in FL. One day a person came in the store and I was the first employee they saw. Told me that they thought there was a person incapacitated or dead in a car in the lot. I went out and sure enough there was an older gentleman slumped over against the door. I tapped on the window and he pops up and rolls down the window. I explained why I was there and he said his wife was shopping and she must have been a while.
