Just a personal preference, but I far prefer the two horizontal screen layout of the Equinox EV and Ioniq 5, as compared to the single vertical screens that you see in the Tesla and Mach E and the Volvo. I think the single vertical screen, is actually a hazard as you have to take your eyes off the road for even basic information.

The Equinox EV gives you the basic information on the screen right in front of you and in some models a heads up display is available. I really like the 17.7” screen on the Eq EV.

I do not have any personal experience with heads up display and I am not positive how much you would use it, but it at least sounds neat. I think as part of the heads up display is a full display camera mirror (with a rear washer).

My thoughts as well. Those vertical screens look tacked on.

No experience with the HUD, but my Bolt has the mirror camera display. I find it exceptional when the back of the car is filled with people or boxes that otherwise limit rear view. A simple toggle flip on the mirror and the camera display comes on.

My wife doesn't care for it that much, but then some people don't care for one pedal driving either. I think regen and one pedal driving are things you get used to but may be disorienting for new drivers used to a traditional car.
