Spending wayyyyyyy too much money on repairs.
I was spending $1500/year on maintenance before I bought our 2011 Chevy Volt, Existence. Up until now, the Volt has cost me virtually nothing in maintenance. I suspect that may change this year (year 12). My plan is to replace the Volt in 2024 or 2025 with the Equinox EV. That will join our 2017 Bolt EV in the garage.

Have you looked at the Equinox EV trim plans and narrowed down which you'll want? Also, what's your charging situation look like?

2016 Bolt son drives. Also have 2022 Bolt EUV, 2022 Rivian R1T (mine), and 2017 RAV4 (trying to give to my other son and his wife), 2000 Tundra (work/fishing truck, rarely use) with check engine light on for several years.

Want to replace Bolt EUV with Equinox EV for more space, better range ang charging speed.

I'm deciding between the 2RS Equinox and the RS Blazer. I'll be able to charge in my garage so no worries there

A 2016 Bolt, Existence? Perhaps you mean a Dec 2016 delivery of a 2017 Bolt? Kind of like the first deliveries of the 2024 Equinox EV's will likely be December 2023.

My 2017 with the new battery replacement is reporting a 300-330 mile range in summer and about a 100 less in winter. I suspect the Equinox ev to match but probably not beat that. DCFC will definitely be better, not that I plan to make much use of that.

Hey @bignick welcome to the forum! Yup there's not going to much, if at all, that the current Equinox will share with the EV. Have you and your wife thought about which model you'd consider getting?
It will probably be a 3LT, to keep certain features we have on the 2022 Equinox Premier, such as the dual zone climate controls.

When we are riding together in the Equinox now, we're usually about four degrees apart in temperature. She uses the heated steering wheel all the time and the heated seats somewhat less frequently. (We got lucky when we picked up the 2022 that we didn't get one that was missing features and needed a later retrofit.)

I'm not wild about the standard 21-inch wheels on the 3LT. They're just ridiculously large and I wouldn't mind downsizing them to 18-inch (if available) or 19-inch ones.
