Regardless of the manufacturer of this truck it would never be something I would buy. In my view it is a styling mess. Is this what attracts potential buyers to it? I sure don’t get it, but maybe you do? Is this something you would buy if you were in the pick-up truck market, and if so why?

Steven, Bollinger was recently purchased by Mullen EV company and will build these in a former H2 plant. I guess there's a crowd for everything, lol.

As far as the rolling Door Stop, I feel its way too long at least from what I see from images online. I'm not sure how this will fit in people's garages. And being surrounded on either side by tight A-pillars while in the driver's seat will be too claustrophobic for me. It is for the spoiled teenager or narcissist that needs attention...not me.

Based on the roof slant, will the rear seats be for kids? The head height looks to be an issue.

I believe the origins of the CT design came from Musk's fascination with the late '70s to early 80's Lotus Esprit featured in the James Bond flick "The Spy Who Loved Me". The urban legend goes like this: a married couple saw the movie set model for sale for some really small some ($45?) not knowing what the significance of it and bought it. When Elon found out about it he purchased it for a few million. He and designer Franz took the beautiful sleek design to create the Frankenstein vehicle known as CyberTruck.

What's worse is that the CyberTruck can't flat load 4x8 plywood sheets. The bed is 6 feet long. In addition, the latest prototype has no cargo pass through. So other than Tesla fanbois I suspect people will be going with the Rivian, F-150 Lightning, and Silverado EVs. Now if Tesla solves the towing range issue then I can see the CyberTruck selling well to those who tow a lot.

Back thousand years ago in 2019, there was SUPPOSED TO BE some sort of flip-up lip or bracket on the inside of the open gate to accomodate 8-foot lumber, which turned a 6.5 foot bed into an 8 foot bed. I haven't heard that that's stuck around at all.

There's still minivans (Grand Caravan, Pacifica) that'll hold plywood sheets, though. If the plugin Pacifica didn't cost $50k, I'd be still looking that...

My 2002 Montana AWD handled 4x8 sheets with ease. It was even long enough to put a queen size sleeper sofa inside and close the tailgate.

Er, you are saying that men who like this style will like this style? Hmmm. That seems like a Botcity statement.

Nonetheless, I think that's the point. It's all about a hard edged, somewhat brutalistic "Look at me!" style.

I believe a smaller CT might be in the works, possibly with 2 doors.
BTW, there is a California start-up called Alpha Motors that designed the stunning 2 door Rex below. They will also contract manufacture but I rather have a legacy automaker like Chevy or Ford buy them out and built it.

Very cool... But I wouldn't bet on a legacy automakers buying it for several reasons:
1. The chances it will fit the ultimate platform are rather slim.
2. They already have designers on payroll, and can and can come up with something similar.
3. So far, legacy automakers investing in startup EVs didn't go that well, especially for Chevy.

If it would be REALLY cost-effective to buy them out, then maybe. But my guess is that's not gonna happen.
