Welcome to the forum @Stellar91! Are you cross-shopping any other EVs? Or have you decided on the Equinox?

Here's an article just on pricing for the base model.
The Chevy Equinox EV was unveiled in 2022 as Chevrolet‘s all-new, all-electric entry-level crossover. Moving into the 2025 model year, buyers have a simplified trim level hierarchy to choose from, with the LT and RS offered as the two remaining trims, and the 1LT deleted from the lineup. Now, General Motors has confirmed that the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV will start at just under $35,000.
When adding in a destination freight charge of $1,395, the base price for the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV rings to the tune of $34,995. As previously reported by GM Authority, the Chevy Equinox EV will not offer a 1LT trim level for the 2025 model year, making the Equinox EV LT the new entry-level trim for the lineup.

The entry-level 2025 Chevy Equinox EV LT is available with a number of different packages, including the Comfort Package (RPO code Y19), the Active Safety Package 2 (RPO code AS2), and the Convenience Package (RPO code ZL3). Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional.
At the top of the 2025-model-year lineup, we find the Equinox EV RS with all-wheel drive and the Convenience Package II, which starts at $51,190. Notably, the Chevy Equinox EV is eligible for a Clean Vehicle Federal Tax Credit of up to $7,500.

With regard to the specs, the Equinox EV rides on the GM BEV3 platform, featuring GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium Drive motors for propulsion. Production of the Equinox EV takes place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico. At present, 2025 Equinox EV production is slated to kick off on August 26th, 2024, however it bears to mention that the date is tentative and that postponements for the start of regular production are still possible.

It looks like my 2024 3LT AWD would be $1100 more for the 2025 version. It seems the 2025 $1100 bump would pay for HUD, rear view mirror camera, wireless charge pad.

Well this looks promising for me. I wasn't in a rush so 2025 MY is not a problem, which could mean late 2024 anyway? I would probably want AWD and LT with Comfort Package and Active Safety Package 2, and it comes with ACC standard, which surprises me. I just have to decide that I can get by with 6.4" of clearance, or that there actually is a way to increase that.

Congratulations on your decision to order a '25 Chevy Blazer EV! It sounds like you made the right choice to get the features you wanted. The animated LED lighting is definitely a cool addition.

What color did you choose for your Blazer EV? Have you test-driven any other electric vehicles before deciding on the Blazer EV?
I'm likely to buy the Sterling Silver Gray. I know they will be offering a new Habanero Orange but I want to that in person to make sure that i dont love it before I actually buy the silver

I can live without the added items for the '25 model year, but I'm disappointed to miss out on the increased torque and HP. I know it's not substantial, but still. It's not a great feeling to order a vehicle as soon as orders open, have the vehicle for less than a month, and find it's being bested by the next model year already. Price/punishment for early adopters?
7/7 (FWD) or 12/22 (AWD) HP/ft-lbs isn't as bad as when I picked up a new 2004 Pontiac GTO, which then got a 50 HP bump in 2005 (up from 350 to 400.)

I'm looking to get the FWD 1LT with Y19 Comfort Package. Hopefully that will keep the MSRP below $35k excluding delivery charges, as that is my cap for a new EV.
Then I'm going to stack all of the rebates that are available to me here in CO.

$7500 from Feds
$7500 from CO
$6000 CO low income vehicle exchange (bye bye 2011 Hyundai)
$5500 Xcel Energy low income rebate
$1000 Costco discount

$27500 total discount.

So if the MSRP is less than or equal to $35k, I'll be at
$7500 + $1395 delivery charge + tax (2.9%) & tags (unknown)
But somewhere in the neihborhood of $10k total.

Any idea of the cost on the Y19 Comfort Package?
Costco discount ends 7/31. I contacted Costco if this would be extended and all they told me was that GM has not extended the relationship.

As someone who has been waiting for the 1LT, it is a bit frustrating that it might not be available at all in the 2024 model year. I guess that I will just have to figure out if I should wait for the 2025 1LT or see if the dealerships provide discounts on their 2024 models that are still on their lots.
The announcement is that threr will be no 1lt. However the 25 molel years obviously will be out in 24

I think we are saying the so-called "1LT" will be the 2025 LT. From there, you can add options to make something like the the 2024 2LT or 3LT. But with the 2025, the 1, 2, 3 designations are gone.

The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV will have a simplified trim level lineup with only LT and RS models available, offering various option packages that include features like heated seats, power lumbar controls, and advanced safety technology. The LT model will come with Comfort, Active Safety, and Convenience packages, while the RS model will include similar features as standard, but with Black roof rails instead of Bright roof rails.
2025 Chevy Equinox EV Gets Overhauled Trim Level Lineup

As GM Authority reported just yesterday, there will likely be no Equinox EV 1LT for the 2024 model year, meaning that the promised $34,995 Equinox EV will likely be introduced for the 2025 model year. With that in mind, General Motors will simplify the trim level lineup of the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV to just LT and RS for the upcoming model year.

For the 2025 model year, the LT will be de-contented, instead offering a number of option packages. More specifically, features that were standard in the 2024 Equinox EV 2LT will become optional, while cloth seats, a six-way manually adjustable driver seat and a urethane steering wheel – which weren’t on offer for the 2024 model – will become standard fare.

The entry-level LT trim will be available with a few packages, including (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
  • Comfort Package (Y19)
    • Driver eight-way power seat adjuster (A2X)
    • Driver power lumbar seat control (AL9)
    • Driver and front passenger heated seats, cushion and back (KAG)
    • Wrapped steering wheel with round bottom (N53)
    • Heated steering wheel (KI3)
  • Active Safety Package 2 (AS2)
    • Rear Pedestrian Alert (UKK)
    • HD Surround Vision (UV2)
    • Traffic Sign Recognition (UVX)
  • Convenience Package (ZL3)
    • Active Safety Package 2 (AS2)
    • Comfort Package (Y19)
    • Front passenger six-way manual seat adjuster (A7H)
    • Interior ambient, multi-color lighting (C70)
    • Headlamps with center lit bar (TDG)
    • Auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (DD8)
    • Power windows with driver Express-up and all windows Express-down (WLM)
    • Driver and front passenger illuminated and sliding visors with covered vanity mirrors (DEG)
    • Bright roof rails (V8P)
    • Heated, power-adjustable and manual-folding outside mirrors (DLF)
    • Wireless phone charging (K4C)
    • AutoSense hands-free power programmable liftgate with presence detection (TCP)
    • Trailering provisions (V92)
    • Hitch guidance (CTT)
    • Hitch view (PZ8)
    • Evotex Seating Surfaces
Meanwhile, both the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV LT and RS models will be offered with these packages (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
  • Active Safety Package 3 (AS3)
    • Active Safety Package 2 (AS2)
    • Super Cruise (UKL)
    • Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist (UKZ)
  • Convenience Package II (6K5)
    • Active Safety Package 2 (AS2)
    • Comfort Package (Y19)
    • Convenience Package (ZL3 – LT only)
    • Driver memory presets for power driver seat and outside mirrors (A45)
    • Front passenger six-way power seat adjuster (A7J)
    • Front passenger two-way power lumbar seat adjuster (AT9)
    • Dual-zone automatic climate control (CJ2)
    • Heated wiper park (CMO)
    • Rear camera mirror (DRZ)
    • Rear Camera washer (CWA)
    • Heated rear outboard passenger seats (KCB)
    • Ventilated driver and front passenger seats (KU9)
    • 275 / 40R21 all-season self-sealing tires (QLT)
    • 21-inch machined aluminum wheels (RW4 – LT only)
    • 21-inch Black painted aluminum wheels (RVV – RS only)
    • LED taillamps with uplevel neutral density (TAU)
    • LED Headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps and enhanced automation and walk-up lighting (TGE)
    • Universal Home Remote (UG1)
    • Head Up Display (UV6)
    • Evotex Seating Surfaces
Essentially, the Convenience Package adds back most of the bits and bobs found in the 2024 Equinox EV 2LT, while the Convenience Package II includes a majority of the goodies found in the 2024 Equinox EV 3LT. Finally, all the features in the Convenience Package are standard on the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV RS, although the RS gets Black roof rails (RPO code VAB) instead of Bright roof rails.
No panoramic sunroof… at least they added the rear view mirror camera.

You CAN not wait, or you cannot wait? These mean entirely different things…

Looks like a portable EVSE doesn’t come with the car now and would need to be purchased as an option if you want one.
Just like Tesla. They used to include a portable connector capable of 32A charging with each vehicle sold, but it became a ~$250 optional purchase about 2 to 3 years ago.

I'm likely to buy the Sterling Silver Gray. I know they will be offering a new Habanero Orange but I want to that in person to make sure that i dont love it before I actually buy the silver
I’ve been looking at pictures of the Optiq in what may be that color (since it appears to be their launch color and has orange in the name, and they’re both being made in Mexico) but couldn’t imagine the Equinox EV in it, and today it looked like there was one posted. I have to say, I’m not a fan.

That photo is of the Equinox in Red Hot not Habanero Orange.

Red Hot (the above color) is going away for the MY25 vehicle being replaced by Habanero Orange.

Ah, looked too orange to be red hot, figured they were previewing the new color since they are “in the know”. Maybe the Cadillac is reusing Red Hot and calling it Monarch Orange.

I cancelled my "24 order, and am hoping to place my 2025 Equinox LT AWD, wanted the HUD and rear camera mirror, not available on 2024 model year. With projected start of production 8/26/24, assuming no delays, any idea on how to know when first day it is possible to place an order? 3-4 weeks prior to start of production? Check GM website daily? Told my dealer I wanted to place the order ASAP but doubt seriously he is going to know when exactly this happens, and I will probably find out first.

I was at the dealer today and he said Thursday 7/25 they would be able to take my order. But he wasn't sure they would have prices.... not too sure how that would work... ??

Taking an order and the dealer being able to place it with GM are two different things. They run into allocation limits. If you are willing to take any 2025 Equinox EV they receive that's close to what you want (different color and or different options), that will be faster than placing a custom order.
