Other than resetting trip counter every time, or just not turning off the Equinox, is there a way to record the driving stats for entire day/time off charger? i.e. with my Volt it used to keep track of entire energy consumption between full charge.
Now with the Equinox I have a reset of that stat every time I turn it off. I'd like to be able to start my day with 0.0 kWh consumed and 0 miles driven and when I get back home see that I used 20 kWh and drove 10 miles (what can I say, I like driving around with the windows open and the heat on hi, J/K I'm trying to make a point like the one on top of my head).
But instead I get a reading of 16 kWh used and 8 miles driven for my in and out errands and when I turn off and get back in, it's 0 kWh and 0 miles and I have to remember the 16/8 numbers and when I get home and see 4 kWh and 2 miles driven add up those values to get my total kWh and miles driven on 50% battery consumption.
Way too much math for me especially if I make multiple turn offs during my day. It's probably in there somewhere, but I can't find it (much like the magical charge port light that I STILL can't get to work). It's just little things like that that I'd like to know.
Love the EQEV just want to know how much I get between plugging in without paper/pencil or memory or punching data into a phone to keep track of kWh and miles and adding up (I'm curious, just not THAT curious that I want to do math on a regular basis).
