I think I heard some vehicles have the same issue and it was because the microphone used in the vehicle was mounted upside down by accident.

 

My 2025 Equinox EV RS, is also experiencing your item 3 and a variation of 2 where ACC drops out with a message stating Adaptive Cruise Temporarily Unavailabe. It happens nearly every time I use it and remains unavailable until vehicle is turned off. However I can switch to regular cruise when the Adaptive is becomes unavailable.

Driving at night I find the led light from the audio volume control bothersome (too bright). I have not investigated if that can be adjusted via the software (I assume not) I am going to paste a dimming circle over it.

 

There's a dash dimming control to the left of the steering wheel by your knee, tmozer3. Maybe that will help you.

 

Isn't the dash dimming automatic depending on the time of day?

 

I'll be turning off Reverse Automatic Braking. It turns on with no apparent reason other than perhaps driveways with cracked or dirty pavement. My passengers think we crashed when it activates. It's perhaps the most unpleasant feature of the car.

 

When I start my 2025 Active the Infotainment screen is always at the home screen with no audio. I have to hunt for the audio stream I want. I've scanned the manual and did not find a solution. Basically I want the car to start with the audio tuned to one of my favorites (Sirius XM The Bridge). How can I set that up please?

 

Tmozer3: you are in the Equinox EV forum. I see your vehicle pic and signature show you have the ICE (non-EV) version of the car so the responses you get here may not help you.

When I enter my EQEV, it turns on my last station and volume setting that I had when I last exited the vehicle.

 

I'd actually like it to stay silent until I'm ready to listen to music every restart. So that's good for me... Anyway it's likely because you don't have a strong signal on first startup so no audio until you select something.

 

Mine plays the last station and the volume I was listening to when I get in.

 

Good to hear about issues, but we also want to hear about solutions. If I had any of these issues I would first call On Star and next schedule an appointment at my dealer. I would also take pictures of the screens when shown issues.

 

I think on my Chevrolet equinox 2025 the 4x4 mode has a bug / an issue that only seems to occur when it's cold outside—unfortunately, that's exactly when you need it most, since it's usually cold after it snows on the road.

 

What issue?

 

It remains stuck in 2-wheel drive mode. The icon on the dashboard stays orange, and a message appears when I start the vehicle, stating that the 4x4 cannot be activated. I’ll share a photo later if that helps.

 

Yes photos are helpful.
And next time it happens, press the OnStar button and ask them to scan for codes and email it to to and post that as well

 

I've only had the vehicle for a week, but one irritant is your #4. I'm listening to Sirius XM and it kicks to Bluetooth. I'm sure it's related to my paired phone, but all I'm wanting to use it for is hands-free calling. It probably does it on average once every 5 minutes or so. The phone is sitting in my pocket when it happens.

Anybody been having an issue where the animation screen when you get into your Equinox only plays on the instrument cluster and not the infotainment screen? Anybody know how to fix this?

 

On my '25 equinox RS I have to slam the hood shut.
Simply dropping it from halfway down doesn't close it.

(Sooner or later I'll bring it to the shop for a warranty fix)

 

just twist the rubber stoppers at the end of the hood down a few so it closes easier.
