I'll preface this by saying that I'm old (70), and I'm used to reading my car's owner's manuals in detail. My Equinox only came with a summary book, and I know there is a link on the infotainment screen, but is there any option to get paper in any way, or at least read it from outside the car?

Thanks.
Hmmmm. I just got our '25 Equinox 2LT, and the same (inadequate) summary book was the only help included. I did find (and download) the PDF of the manual, but that's not a big help if I'm miles from home. So I asked the dealership ... and without any fuss, they handed me a paper copy of the complete driver's manual. So I suggest you ask there. Oh, and I've got you beat - I'm even older (75)! :)

Hi DAC17A,
I also prefer a hardcopy owners manual. They have always been in every car I've ever bought. Difficult to access via a soft copy on a phone. So I went to the Chevy manual's page where you can down load the owner's manual. [I had a link here but it won't let me post with it or even a text version of it because it's my first post - Google Chevrolet manuals and you should get there].

I noticed there is a chat button. After talking to the OnStar digital assistant (ask for a human), person 1, and then person 2, I gave her my address and she ordered me a copy. Said it would take two weeks to get here. They didn't ask for any payment. Hopefully it will show up.

Please update on what you are sent Ric982, the 135 page abridged "Essential" manual that's included with the car or the complete 361 page owner's manual.

Difficult to access via a soft copy on a phone.
It's also built into the Infotainment screen via the myChevrolet app. However you (or a passenger) can not access it while driving, only while parked.

Having seen some of these posts, I asked the person on the chat if it was the 382 page owner's manual. She said yes. I'll try to update this when I receive something.

I like a hard copy. It's when something is wrong that you need the owner's manual, and you may not have access to whatever when that occurs. Also if someone else is driving your care and not familiar with it, it's needed.

Keep an eye on your credit card as well if OnStar has it on file...

Yes. There's that. :)
I don't think they do. I haven't signed up for a plan. I just got the car two days ago, and I'm on the free trial period.

Well I received a package today that contained a hard-copy of the Chevrolet 2025 Equinox Owners Manual. Sadly, it was not for the Equinox EV.

I attempted to use the OnStar button in my car to resolve, but since my trial OnStar Premium membership has lapsed, I was not given the option to speak with the Equinox EV concierge. The options I was given did not sound like they would lead to someone who could help with this.

So on to other paths to resolve. I've started with an attempt to email the person at OnStar who responded about the missing Camera ICON from the concierge. Will update here as I find out.

The OnStar Premium membership shouldn't have anything to do with having access to an EV concierge. I called OnStar when I had an error, and they eventually connected me with an EV concierge, but it wasn't part of the regular menu. I do not have an OnStar plan beyond the standard 3 year & 8 year plans that come with the vehicle. You can also try calling the EV concierge directly, at 1-833-EVCHEVY (1-833-382-4389). I tried this number when I had an issue on a holiday, and there was no answer, so I don't think it's available 24/7.

Update. So I was in my car and had a reason to talk to onstar. I was able to get to the ev concierge this time. I think there must be difference between what you get with car on vs car off. This time a digital assistent asked me what I wanted. First try it didn’t understand. Second try was “I have a problem with my car”. That got me connected to the concierge.

So I asked about the manual and she said that the EVs don’t have a manual they can send. But she said I could get one from them or a dealer. Didn’t talk price.

So end of story on free manual through Onstar. I have to bring my car into the dealer today, and I’ll see if they have one and what they charge. My guess is they will order one to drop ship for a fee. I’ll update here when I find out.

So, in case it was missed, I said in a reply to a response, that the manual I got from asking for one through OnStar showed up, but was for a Chevrolet Equinox (not EV).

To order a manual, you can go to Chevrolet site, in the top left menu icon pull down, there is "Owners Manuals". On that page select year / model (e.g. 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV), and select "See Manuals". At the bottom select "Order a Printed Manual".

This takes you to HELMINC website. You have to select "Equinox", "2025", "Owners Manuals", "Search". Then select the quantity for "2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV Full Owner Manual".

$50 for manual. $90.70 with shipping/handling to me.
I ordered one.

This car has so much stuff on it by the time I learn it all it will be time to turn it in.

I did not get an owners manual with the vehicle and even thought I down loaded a Pdf version, I find the downloaded version to be problematic.

I live in the Dover DE area so has anyone gone to the dealership and was able to get one for free?

Thanks

Sarge, please update your account Signature (displays below your posts) and your account Vehicle Details (displays below your avatar) with your Equinox EV details. It's easy, see How to Add Your Equinox EV Details to Your Signature

Besides the complete Owner's Manual PDF version for your home computer, phone, the manual is also built into the car's Infotainment screen via the myChevrolet app. Otherwise, a printed version can be ordered via the Chevy website ($50 + $25 shipping), or print your own using the PDF. You can ask the dealer for one, whether they have one or will give it to you free is up to the dealer.

I am confused regarding my signature. Should I just put Sarge

Sarge
Instead of "Sarge" put in your car year, model, FWD or AWD. Options like " SuperCruise" etc. can be helpful, Sarge. For example, I have "2024 Equinox 3LT AWD 21" Wheels, Sterling Gray. 2017 Bolt EV Premier. 240V Charge station. 13+ Years Driving Electric. 2011 Volt (sold)" in mine.

Sarge, just to be clear, you don't type this at the bottom of your post, go into your account settings and change it there. It will be automatically included below all of your posts.

Did you look at the Chevy website Owner's Manual page?

Note: Even though the exact model is selected on their page, the Chevy website mixes Equinox (ICE) and Equinox EV results.
Just printed the manual. landscape version is what i got and it needs to be in a 3 ring binder and flipping the pages over or it is upside down. But it is all there and it will be helpful for sure.
