Here are just some of the apps that are available. A couple were useful like Audible and the rest were not and disappointing. I drive a lot and have to charge a fair amount away from home. So my down time waiting leaves me to watching YouTube videos on my phone……..

Maybe it’s because I’m starting to get a little old but what apps are people looking for besides streaming? I mean it’s a car for driving. And since I have dcfc only once in the almost year I’ve owned mine, I really don’t care about streaming.

I feel the same. So much gnashing of teeth about apps, yet little in the way of details on what must have apps are missing. The only one I've seen mentioned a few times are a Teams meeting app so you can participate in an office meeting while you are not focused on driving.

Spotify and PocketCasts almost exclusively here for me, and they work great when they don't glitch out for whatever reason ("Something went wrong" or "Content not available"). My wife occasionally uses Audible. I was floored to find that Libby has an app too (for audiobooks through the public library). Anything else... well, I came from a car that pre-dated CarPlay, so I'm not as allergic to the old phone mount + Bluetooth setup as some people are. iHeartRadio lists the handful of non-local stations I might want, but they never seem to work.

I rarely use DC charging, and when I do, that time is spent convincing my kids that yes actually you should pee now even if you don't "neeeeed" to. I could see it being more annoying if you travel alone often. Sounds like video streaming is rolling out slowly though.

"The rest are disappointing" - if you dig deep enough I think you'll find that 90+% of the apps on both iOS and Android are trash too. I get it though - it's just there's such a small number of apps available on AAOS that the dregs are a lot closer to the top of the list.

I will say that the new YouTube and Google Chrome apps (among others) are really nice after initial testing today after getting my infotainment update. I think both are better than the versions I last used on Tesla. The Google Chrome browser is a full fledged multi tabbed browser, and YouTube even lets you leave comments. Not too shabby.
I’m not sure what else was added, I don’t find I’m missing much except I would love a ln Apple Music app.
