I've been perusing the forum for this and have not found a number.
Maybe it's me.
I see on the car's screen in L1 it can be either 8 amps or 12 amps.
How many amps does the equinox draw when t's plugged into a 240v L2?

You can use the standard three-pronged 120-volt plug (NEMA 5-15) for Level 1 charging at your home (up to 1.4 kW). The larger four-pronged plug (NEMA 14-50) is a 240-volt plug that provides Level 2 charging (7.7 kW), similar to AC charging stations you may find in public.
7.7 kw is 240v X 32 amps.
The car can charge at up to 48 amps on level 2 but the provided portable level 2 charger is fixed at 32 amps.

L2 is negotiated by the EVSE. L1 is set by the owner to be either 8 or 12 amps. L1 is 120 volts and the 8 amp setting is to protect older homes with unknown wiring quality.

I have a ChargePoint L2 charger connected to a 50amp circuit. You can set the charging current provided by the charger using the Wi-Fi connection of the charger. I believe it defaults to 40A. Since I have plenty of time to charge my EV I have set it to 30A assuming the slower charging is better for battery life.
